Yes, we are alive - my cute husband and I loved, loved, loved our time at the beach -whether riding horses on the sand (and in the surf) or jet skiing with dolpin pods or just eating out together, alone, without spilled drinks, flying food or requests for more ranch dressing! It was wonderful!
Upon our return home I have learned how to lay engineered wood flooring and with the help of a professional was able to lay about 500 sq. ft. of wood floor in this house! It looks great!
Now, I am preparing to travel this coming weekend to Mexico - where we were headed a couple of weeks ago anyway... but, we hope - this time - that I make it!

I agree getaways are great. Gio and I went to San Francisco for 4 days without the boys and it was heaven.
