Our Young Women retreat for church this year is themed after the scripture, "Be Strong and of a Good Courage". Our Stake has chosen the movie "The Wizard of Oz" to serve as an analogy of courage, faith and perseverance while choosing to be compassionate. I have been asked to put together the spiritual program for the retreat... and above is a still I have made for the evening program.

love it! what else did you do? Maybe I could use a similar theme for YW in excellence.
txmommy - I also rewrote the song, "Somewhere over the Rainbow" to reflect a more religious theme - I could send you the words to use in your YW in Excellence. We also make a yellow brick road with some fabric and shoeboxes wrapped in yellow wrapping paper with the YW virtues listed on the bricks to remind the YW that their path back to our Father in Heaven is paved with these virtues.
