It is official! All of our children have begun school this morning. We walked them into their classrooms and they were ready to begin their day - our little man began Kindergarten with a wave and the blow of a kiss. The girls all marched into their rooms, sat down and began listening to the teachers speak completely in Spanish! We are so grateful to have the children in a bilingual school so that we can maintain the Spanish language in our lives!
I thought I would feel a sense of freedom, a bit of elation or at least enjoy the silence... but, after dropping our children off at school and my husband off at the airport it seems that the feelings I thought I would have are not here at all. I miss the children and although the house is quiet - my thoughts are turned to them and what they are doing and if they are enjoying their classes. I can't wait to pick them up!

Happy First day!!
I love E hair, so cute and short!!
back to school is bitterwett. I can't believe all of them are now in school! That would leave me reeling a bit. I am sure you will find things to keep yourself very busy!
I can't believe neither you or M cried on his first day!!! That is so great that you enrolled them in a bilingual school! Hope they have a fabulous year!

They are all so adorable. How wonderful that they can go to a bilingual school! Don't let them loose their Spanish. Poor Robert understands everything in Italian, but has such diffuculty speaking it! And Brian, forget any of it...not happening!
And you will start to find things to occupy your time...Have a great week, and tell J hello when he returns..
Love,
Gio, Judy and the Boys
A time and a season for everything, huh?? I can only imagine the fun projects that you are going to come up with during your "free time". Your kids are growing up so fast!
Good luck! I have 1 more year to go until all of mine are in school- and I'm so not looking forward to it. I LOVe having my girls home.
